The role of the media is to report events accurately, dispassionately and in a way that we can understand events unfolding around us.
The general public can decipher the motives and intentions of each activity and how it relates to their respective interests.
The Global Economy is in crisis because the financial sector did not keep the promise of self regulation. Instead, Trillions were lost on risky and at times criminal ventures. We cannot continue the same old blind ..." we did not know attitude" any longer!
If the stimulus package and recovery package of some 1.2 Trillions given out by Pres BUSH AND Obama were given to the citizens, many houses would have been saved and many CEOs of the last Digital and real estate bubble would not be in shelters collecting food stamps.
Whose policy led the global economy to collapse! The public has the right to ask those who had some thing to do with it.
The legal system needs to protect the financial and economic sector too.
There are many who played in the Ponzi schemes who have not accounted for their action. The fact Freddie and Fannie are still operating the way they did in the past is crazy?
If we can bail out Corporate Welfare giants like the banks (Big Corporate Stampers VS SMALL FOOD STAMPERS0 why not the citizens whose taxes are being used to support the same people who sank the economy with no remorse or change in the way they do business.
The election is one place to ask why the Banks are keeping $2 Trillions and not lending them, why the Investors are keeping another $2 Trillions and not investing them in jobs, Americans Jobs not oversees banking and oversees jobs?
We need to learn from the realities of the past and ensure that we have ways of improving the economy, jobs and our social services.
We cannot continue to spend trillions abroad be it on jobs, war and banks and not feel the pain.
This is has nothing to do with ideology but with facts. The USA has 65 Trillions in assets and 15 TRILLION IN DEBT to countries like China, who have benefited from the manufacturing jobs of American companies. Let us be honest and see our Apple products and for that matter any household goods, made by American companies are all made by Chinese!
Remember the most favoured nation mantra of the 1990s. Now let us make the USA the most favoured nation by our Congressmen and Presidential candidates. This is not a socialist nor a capitalist ideology, this is an American National Interest ideology!
I trust you understand where I come from and where I intend to go. Jobs for Americans and economic recovery for the common man. Then, all the Congress men and Presidential candidates will not be on a food stamp! Smile! it can happen! If their bubble bursts too!

Mainstream media blatant socialist agenda
The mainstream media basically gets to choose our president based on the degree to which they choose to scrutinize each candidate. Those that they champion (Obama) are barely vetted at all, whereas those they disdain are dissected to the nth degree. Hopefully the American people will awaken to this phenomenon and not allow themselves to be so easily manipulated. Ideally the elite media will regain a sense of responsibility and integrity as they carry out a most important function in a society blessed with the freedom of the press.
Why is it that the Mainstream media is unable to understand the ultimate result of the socialist agenda they along with our president, are driving? Do they not realize that if they are successful, freedom of the press will ultimately be eliminated as well as their jobs and way of life? Unfortunately ideologues are usually incapable of objective reasoning and this in fact may be the answer to the question.
The reason political punditry has been so inaccurate during this political cycle, is because the mood of the country has been altered in a way that hasn't been seen during our lifetime. The American people are frightened. Not so much that they will not receive their retirement fund, but rather they will lose the American way of life for future generations. For that reason they are willing to accept character defects in someone they feel that may have the possibility of reestablishing the American dream. Multiple polls continue to show that the vast majority strongly feels this nation is moving in the wrong direction. There is also a feeling that this election may be our last opportunity to change directions. All political pundits should be aware of this mood.
